Pantorrone

Two thin slices of nougat interspersed with sponge cake soaked in alcoholic syrup and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and covered in fine dark chocolate. The hygroscopicity of the nougat paste in contact with the liqueur and the balsamic tends to melt the nougat over time, further amplifying the taste on the palate.
